Dr. Ines Khochtali has been Associate Professor of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the University Hospital of Monastir, Tunisia since December 2012. She is Head of department of Endocrinology and Internal medicine in the university hospital of Monastir-Tunisia.
She completed her residency training at University Hospital of Tunisia and at Paris Descartes University, France.
Dr. Khochtali’s postgraduate studies include a diploma in Endocrine Tumors from Paris Descartes University (2008), a certiﬁcate in Endocrine Reproduction from University Paris 13 (2010), a postgraduate diploma in Diabetes from Cardiff University, Wales, United Kingdom (2016), and She performed a diploma of coordination of education’s programs in the university of Geneva.
She is a general secretary of the Tunisian Society of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and member of the International Atherosclerosis Society as well as several other endocrinology and diabetes organizations.
Fuelled by a special interest in diabetes genetics, Dr. Khochtali earned a professional science master’s degree in Human Genetics.
Dr. Khochtali has many peer reviewed international publications on research areas including management of diabetes and obesity, diabetic nephropathy, Cushing syndrome,Graves’disease,sexual dysfunction, and other topics.
Besides her research work, Dr. Khochtali founded the diploma of Therapeutic education in the faculty of medicine, this diploma is the first one in Maghreb and Africa. She also teaches students seeking to earn the Endocrinology Certiﬁcate in Medicine and Pharmacy from the University of Monastir.
